The Happy Journey Collective is the product of the imaginative heads of illustrators Thereza Rowe, Lesley Barnes and Abi Daker.
It was born out of a twitter conversation over a link Thereza posted featuring eco friendly customized coffins which used mostly stock images and little imagination.
... And so came the idea to invite the best artists / illustrators from around the world to form a collective to answer a brief involving final destination boxes design.
The project has been developing better than we ever expected as the response from the artists involved and originality of their artwok have been amazing so far.
Although currently web based, ideas and possibilities for print publication are being discussed and explored.
